A Day is a camera whose snaps disappear after 24 hours. Need a hand? We're happy to help.

Contact

Email btgr.dev@gmail.com and keep "A Day" in the subject line. Please include your iPhone model, iOS version and what happened. We're a small team and usually reply within 3–5 business days.

Where are my photos and videos stored?

Only on your iPhone, inside A Day's own storage. A Day doesn't upload them anywhere. See the Privacy Policy.

Why did my snap disappear?

That's the idea: every snap expires 24 hours after you take it and is deleted automatically. Deletion happens when you open the app and during iOS background refresh, so the timing can be slightly off. To keep a snap, use Save to Photos before it expires.

Can I change how long snaps last?

No. In this version every snap expires after 24 hours, and A Day holds up to 24 active snaps at once.

How do I keep a snap?

Save it to Photos from the snap's detail screen, the selection bar, or the long-press menu on a gallery card. Allow "Add Photos Only" access when asked. The copy in Photos is yours and won't be auto-deleted.

The camera, microphone, location or Photos isn't working. What do I do?

Open iOS Settings → A Day and turn the permission on: Camera, Microphone, Location (While Using the App) or Photos (Add Photos Only). You can also tap the Photos or Location row in A Day's own Settings screen to turn it on or jump to iOS Settings. If another app, such as a video call, is using the camera or microphone, video recording may be blocked until it stops.

How do I delete everything?

Delete snaps one by one or in bulk inside A Day, or delete the app to remove all of its on-device data. Copies you saved to Photos or shared must be deleted separately.

Is anything uploaded?

No snap is uploaded. A Day has no accounts, analytics or ads. The one thing that leaves your phone is the place-name lookup: if Location is on, a snap's coordinates are sent to Apple's geocoding service to get a place name. Turn off Location for A Day to avoid it. Details in the Privacy Policy.
