Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Batu does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no network requests.

What stays on your device

Batu stores a small local event log and a few settings (using UserDefaults) on your device only. This data never leaves the device. Deleting the app removes it.

The reserve

The reserve is a placeholder file stored inside Batu's own container. Batu does not read, scan, or access your photos, your files, or any other app's data.

Disk space

Batu reads the available disk space on your device solely to show you how much storage can be reserved or freed. This is declared in the app's privacy manifest as disk space and UserDefaults access.

App Store review prompt

The review prompt is the standard system dialog provided by Apple. Batu receives no data from it.

Children

Batu collects nothing from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy
